巴斯大学是综合类大学,在传授教化过程中非常看重建筑在实际生活中的布局,而非观点化的设计。学生的传授教化和设计过程与工程结合非常紧密,包括对付保温、透风、电暖等内容的学习也比较多,紧张以现实中的实体建筑为基准,运用性非常强。巴斯大学在建筑学上紧张以量产设计师为准则,看重模块化思维,毕业展的作品中也展现着细腻,精确,实用的特点。

巴斯大学的本科建筑学学习时长为4年,中间包括了在Year 2和Year 3有两次6个月的演习,并且在这四年期间,学生有机会作为交流生出国学习。(学校并不能担保每一个学生百分之百的能找到演习事情,但是会供应一系列的帮助,支持和资源。)巴斯大学本科从作品来看重视学生对付室内空间设计,建筑形式操作,及对付构造和材料的理解,并且着重永续建筑的发展性。传授教化形式以Studios为主,并以理论与历史传授教化为辅让学生从多层面去深入理解建筑设计学科。
由于其本科建筑学专业更看重工程构造方面的内容,本科课程也多与数学、物理等有交集,以是对A-Level的哀求非常高。总体来说,Bath的传授教化属于循规蹈矩的办法,对付一些个性没有那么强,倾向于理性思考与工程构造干系知识学习的同学会比较适宜一些;但如果你是属于那种喜好在设计中融入个人想法,或者说更加喜好观点设计而不是工程、构造的这类同学,可能并不适宜。
