城市客厅项目位于怀柔科学城起步区，定位为国内外科学家的国际化公共做事中央、怀柔科学城的对外展示样板和科学研究与科技家当的活力中央，将以国际化培植标准打造。项目总用地面积23.72公顷，分为A、B、C三个地块，总建筑面积约51万平方米。
个中，城市客厅A地块在科研装置集中区的中央位置，结合绿地布局国际顶尖研究型学院和国际化配套做事，形成功能多元、开放共享、充满活力的公共空间典范地区，核心功能为研究型学院、酒店及酒店式公寓、公共做事、文化举动步伐、配套商业、城市公园等。B地块定位于科技做事和技能转化功能，结合干系的办公、商服配套，成为怀柔科学城创新科技家当的活力中央，核心功能包括科技做事与转化、企业办公、酒店、商业配套、人才公寓等。C地块定位于小体量的事情配套、生活配套，就近做事于周边科研职员的事情和生活需求，营造便捷、舒适的配套做事环境，核心功能包括日常配套做事功能、长租公寓等。
为保障城市客厅项目的高品质落地，北京怀柔科学城培植发展有限公司于去年年底发布公告，进行国际方案征集。公告发布后，国内外设计机构积极相应，有来自中、英、法、德、美、澳等10余个国家和地区的33个设计团队报名，经由资格预审，优选出8家环球有名设计团队参与科学城城市客厅项目设计事情。01

Plot A Urban living room has a confident, open, scientific and exciting attitude.
●The functions are organically and flexibly distributed, the natural ecology is integrated in an all-round way, the three-dimensional space is open to the city, and the different users are fully taken care of.
●The form reflects the impression of the Great Wall and the charm of Feitian painting. It echoes with the form of high-energy light source. With the latest construction technology, Feitian tower and cloud roof are full of mathematical beauty, reflecting the vigorous spirit and profound Chinese culture.
●As a whole, it is a confident world-class city living room facing the future.

B地块策略高效合理，形式和谐灵动。
● 周详路网整体方案下，景不雅观谷纵穿地块，规整的建筑群分列两旁。办公和公寓位于平台与长廊上部，商业位于其下。内外、高下各自交通清晰。
● 建筑平面高效，平台连廊供应风雨无阻的利用场景，云朵造型洒脱温暖，柔化惯常的园区气氛。
● 造型外实内虚，照顾城市界面形象，同时保持内部通透感。
Plot B strategy is efficient and reasonable, and the form is harmonious and flexible.
● Under the overall planning of the dense road network, the landscape Valley flows through the plot, and the regular buildings are arranged on both sides. Offices and apartments are located on the upper part of the platform and corridor, and commercial is located under it. The traffic inside and outside, up and down is clear.
● Plan layout is efficient, the platform corridor provides the use scene of rain and wind, and the cloud shape is elegant and warm, which softens the habitual atmosphere of the park.
● Outside of the façade is solid and inside is more transparent, taking care of the image of the city interface, while maintaining the internal sense of transparency.

C地块是融入自然的第四代住宅。
● 整体为装置式建筑，统一模数下供应5种灵巧户型，施工高效。
● 天涯线连绵起伏，呼应远景的怀柔群山，临河而立，形象不同于传统住宅。
● 以入户绿化平台为例，充分利用绿色建筑方法，融入怀柔自然大环境，成为低能耗、高技能、利用舒适的新一代住宅。
Plot C is the fourth generation residential integrated into nature.
● In general, the design is the assembled building, with 5 flexible apartment layout and efficient construction.
● The skyline is continuous and dancing, which talks to the Huairou mountains in the future, standing by the river, and its image is different from that of traditional houses.
● Take the greening platform for entering the house as an example, make full use of green building measures, integrate into the natural environment of Huairou, and become a new generation of residential buildings with low energy consumption, high technology and comfortable use.

A地块 谷地公园
城市中的山谷公园，与怀柔群山环抱，流水穿行的地理特色密切呼应。人为艺术品与大自然之间的谨慎平衡和永恒对话，为怀柔科学城新授予的名片。
起伏的阵势，可登高的屋顶，充分覆盖的植被，四季变革的景不雅观。“大坡地”，“小峡谷”，下沉剧院，慢跑步道，运动园地，健身举动步伐，穿插散落在多元多层的空间中。
Plot A Valley Park
The Valley Park in the city, mountain landscape generates an unmistakable relation to the specific character of Huairou and its location at the foot of the Beijing north mountains. The building design is composed as a careful balance between small, human scale building cluster and the overall iconic image of a large-scale topographic skyline – a constant dialog between human artefact nature.
The undulating terrain, the ascending roof, the fully covered vegetation, and the changing landscape of the four seasons. "Slopeland", "Small Canyon", sunken theater, jogging track, sports field, fitness facilities, interspersed and scattered in a multi-layered space.

B地块 蜿蜒绿脊
贯穿南北的中心空间如同一条蜿蜒绿脊，串联起尺度宜人的街巷空间。多元功能集于一体，创造便捷亲近、富有人气的当代化社区。
有秩序的建筑间隔将西侧大自然梳理进城市内部。精确布局的通透性，担保在基地内部任何一点都可以远眺群山。
克制的建筑体量，形成一幅建筑群像，表情多元、遵照个性，却又相互尊重、和谐统一。
Plot B Winding Green Ridge
The central space that runs through the north and the south is like a winding green ridge, connecting the streets and lanes with pleasant scales. Diverse functions are integrated into one to create a convenient, close, and popular modern community.
The orderly building intervals sort out the west side nature into the city. The precise layout guarantees that the mountains can be overlooked from any point inside the base.
The restrained building volume forms a group portrait, with diverse expressions from individuality, yet respecting each other and being harmonious and unified.

C地块 城市链接
以具有连续感的建筑、景不雅观设计谋略来应对分散的园地特点，形成独具特色的公寓组群，构成“城市链接”的整体效果。建筑布局与东侧开阔景不雅观资源充分对话，西侧与城市客厅一脉相连。各用地内部的景不雅观庭院丰富了从公共到私属空间的回家体验，形成开放式街区，丰富了区域的慢行系统，美化了地块的城市边界。
Plot C Link Park
The scattered plots are connected by continuous buildings and landscape and compose a “link park” with distinctive apartment buildings.
The building blocks continue the urban living room in the west and open to the wide landscape view in the east.
The landscape and courtyards in each plot enrich the way home from public to the private. The open blocks also beautify the boundaries and make the non-motorized system more friendly and interesting.

A地块 创新生态核
在街角及中央创造下沉式广场，引入人流和自然光。创造中央绿地，串联周边。抬起东西绿地两侧，形成半私密绿化平台，为全体起步区供应一处城市级生态花园。建筑设计以圆弧为根本，以“创新生态核”为理念，建筑措辞上与高能光源装置形成呼应。方案选用暖色陶板与灰砖为立面材料，传承北京当地文化，与周边现有建筑和谐统一。
Plot A Sustainable Core
In urban scale, the project create sunken plaza at the street corner and the center of the plot, infilling the people and sunlight. The central green park connects the surrounding area. By lifting the green park on the east and west side，creating a semi-private garden, the project creates an urban ecological garden for the entire generating area. Base on circular shape, the design concept for plot-A is "Sustainable Core". It`s architectural language echoes the high-energy synchrotron radiation source device. The façade material is composed of warm-colored ceramic slabs and gray bricks, which inherit the local cultural features and are harmoniously integrated with the surrounding existing buildings.

B地块 综合做事终端
以“综合做事终端”为理念，以简洁的直线条为措辞，打造极富当代感、科技感的形象。方案传承启动区“小街区，密路网”的方案特色，以相似体量延续城市肌理。围合式公共下沉绿化。首层环绕中央花园支配商业配套做事周边。丰富立体式的绿色公共空间串联全体园区，为国际科学人才供应社交平台，形成科技家当活力中央。
Plot B Complex Service Terminal
The design concept for Plot-B is "Complex Service Terminal". The design creates simple straight-line as general architectural language, creating modern and hi-tech architectural image with metal panel and glass curtain wall as the main facade materials. In urban scale, the project inherited the “Small Block, Intensive Road Network” principle, staying harmony with the urban fabric. Reserve the public sunken plaza at B1 with retail facilities gathering around at 1st floor. Multi-layered green public space connects the entire park, providing a social platform for international science and technology talents.

C地块 田园聚落
本方案以“田园聚落”为设计观点。方案上依照城市肌理排布公寓产品，沿紧张道路和公寓首层支配配套商业，形成串联区域的商业轴。设置二层步道及景不雅观平台系统连接社区及河道。整体建筑立面设计简洁当代，极富意见意义的景不雅观连桥系统将各个特色商业空间串连在一起并延伸至水岸，打造亲近自然，绿色康健的田园水岸社区。
Plot C Pastoral Village
The design concept of Plot-C is "Pastoral Village". The Masterplan distributes the apartment products according to the urban texture, and arranges the retail facilities at the 1st floor of the apartment along the main road, so as to form a commercial axis connecting the entire area. A two-story walkway and landscape platform system connects the community and river bank. The façade design is simple and modern. The interesting landscape bridge system connects various featured retail spaces together and extends to the waterfront, creating a eco-waterfront community.

城市客厅旨在为科研职员供应一个集科学、艺术、自然、人文为一体的科学园林和山水文园。这是一个魅力场所，一个活力生发地，一个人们相聚互换、碰撞、磨擦，产生火花，产生能量的地方，一个由“广场”延展出来，由“街道”、“园林”、“植物园”、“温室”、“中庭”、“咖啡”集群而成的“环城园”。
The urban living room aims to provide a scientific park and landscape garden for scientific research personnel, which integrates science, art, nature and humanities. This is a place of charm, a place of vitality, a place where people meet to communicate, exchange with discussions and debates, spark off inspirations, and harness energy, a place as a "ring garden in the city" that is extended from "squares" and clustered by "streets"," gardens", "botanical garden", " greenhouse", "atrium" and "coffee".

设计观点——广场与公园
A地块被分为两个部分，西侧为城市空间，东侧为公园空间。城市空间延续周边地块的城市肌理，营造高密度小尺度的街巷空间。在公园区域，文化和体育举动步伐和公园绿化有机衔接，连成一片大型开放式的景不雅观公园。
受地块周边山脉的启示，弧形的天涯线设计，将不同功能的建筑串联在一起，犹如层叠的山峦，具有光鲜的可识别性。
Design Concept-Plaza and Park
Plot A is divided into two parts, with the urban space on the west and the park space on the east. The urban space continues the urban texture of the surrounding plots, creating a high-density, small-scale street space. In the park area, cultural and sports facilities and park greenery are organically connected to form a large open landscape park.
Inspired by the mountains surrounding the plot, the curved roofscape ties the buildings together and creates a strong architectural identity.
∆ B地块
设计观点——胡同
B地块中心是一条南北贯通的林荫大道。我们将所有事情和零售空间放置在林荫大道的东侧，住宅区放置在西侧。办公室和研究举动步伐均具有大型中庭，供应良好的照明和事情条件。而住宅部分则受中国传统胡同的启示，着重于令人愉悦的尺度，并且尽可能达至低层及高密。
Design Concept-Hutong
Plot B is tied together by a north – south stretching boulevard which acts as a central spine. To the east of the spine we place all the working spaces and retail offers while placing a residential area to the west. Offices and research facilities all have large atriums, great lighting and working conditions while the residential part, inspired by traditional Chinese hutongs, focuses on a pleasant human scale and is as low and dense as possible.

设计观点——村落落
受到周边自然环境的启示，一条商业水街沿着溪流，从C地块穿越而过。串联起一片便利宜人的居住空间。
C地块的设计观点，是打造一条在低楼层高密度的商业街。适中的面积和狭窄的街道和狭小空间让街道变得活气盎然。建筑物，建筑细节以及城市空间也变得更加亲密，温暖和个性化。
Design Concept-the village
Inspired by the nearby nature, a stream of water runs through the plot, and along the stream a pedestrian street.
The idea of Plot C is to create low and dense shopping streets . With modest dimensions, narrow streets and small spaces, the streets become alive and both buildings, building details and urban spaces are experienced as intimate, warm and personal.

方案将180米直径，两层联通的“公共活力环”置于A地块中央，活力环内置公共文化做事及配套功能，通过中央的下沉公共室外空间及东西绿轴串联其它居住和学术办公组团。“公共活力环”围合开释中央绿地广场的自然活力，使“公共活力环”成为365天7乘24小时的活力中央和科学城的公共活动、互换互通的中枢。
Plot A public vitality ring
The scheme is about to place a 180M diameter, two-story connecting "public vitality ring" in the center of plot A. The vitality ring built-in public cultural services and supporting functions, through the central sunken public outdoor space and the east-west green axis links other residential and academic office groups. "Public Vitality Ring" surrounds and releases the natural vitality of the central green space square, making the "Public Vitality Ring" into a 365 days, 7x24-hour vitality center and the hub of public activities and exchanges in the Science City.

B地块 活力绿谷
B地块以“活力绿谷”串联南北两个区域，“ 活力绿谷”下沉一层，充分利用地下空间将配套做事和文体娱乐功能融入进居住和办公功能，使地块东西两翼均置于“活力绿谷”之上。室外“活力绿谷”通过丰富的室外勾留和活动空间，给科学事情者在研究和生活之间供应了丰富的互换碰撞场所，可以更充分引发科学事情者的潜力。
Plot B vibrant green valley
B plot uses "vibrant green valley" to link north and south regions, "vibrant green valley" sinking one floor, make full underground space where supporting services and cultural and entertainment functions into the residential and office functions, so the east and west wings of the plot are all placed above the "vibrant green valley". Outdoor "vibrant green valley" offer a fruitful outdoor stops and activity space, to provide scientists the rich exchange and communication place between their studies and living life, could fully stimulate the potential of scientists.

C地块 活力生活带
C地块以分散通透的形体组织和低矮的建筑体量来减少对已有建筑的遮挡及压迫。沿河城市界口试图创造更多的邻水景不雅观，以阶梯型的建筑迁移转变制造更多的室外公共开放空间，为科学城创造一段宜人的邻水“活力生活带”。C地块的“活力生活带”，会给科学城的街区氛围带来功能与形象的转化，充分激活全体区域的未来生活潜力。
Plot C vibrant life belt
Scheme of plot C is about to reduce the blocking and oppression of existing buildings by dispersing and permeable organization and low build mass. Along the river city interface to try to create more adjacent water landscape, with a step-shaped architectural transition to create more outdoor public open space, for the Science City to create a pleasant adjacent water "vibrant living belt" . The "vibrant life belt" of plot C will bring the transformation of function and image to the neighborhood atmosphere of Science City, and fully activate the future life potential of the whole region.

主体四栋单体建筑体型简洁、功能布局适应性强。并与周边城市环境相呼应，形成完全的城市界面。
中心开放的城市公园形态幽美、充满艺术感，知足各种活动需求。核心区域采取动感的形体变革营造充满未来感和城市魅力的“科学之眼”。作为科学城核心展厅的“科学之眼”是怀柔科学城作为天下级原始创新承载区、放眼天下、面向未来的核心精神场所。
The volume of the four edge buildings is simple and flexible, suits for all potential programs. It also responds directly to the specificities of the site, seamlessly fitting into its urban context.
The central urban park is elegant and aesthetic in shape, which also meets the needs of various activities. At the heart of the Huairou Science City startup development, we proposed “The Eye of Science”. By creating a dynamic form of geometry, it will become attractive, innovative and iconic. As the core of HSC's exhibition area, the “Eye of Science” will be a Global standard Innovative Supporting Area.
∆ B地块
酒店、公寓靠近西侧公园绿地，办公、研发附近城市，呼应周边城市界面。形成布局合理、建筑与景不雅观一体化的空间关系。建筑体型简洁，知足远期各种功能转换及不同规模的利用者。
连续的景不雅观环境结合线性的立面措辞与商业动线，即打造了整体的空间感和生动感，又营造出与城市充满互动的商业、文化场所，激活全体园地。
The hotel, apartment overlooks the West-side green area; Office on the East side developed a new spatial experience, echoing the rhythm of the surrounding urban fabric, forms a reasonable layout, integrates the architecture and landscape. Straightforward geometry fits for future program alternation and different-scaled users.
The continuous landscape environment combines linear facades and commercial dynamics, which creates a wide variety of activities and atmospheres, also stimulating and intertwining the commercial and cultural space throughout the whole site.
∆ C地块
公寓楼由多个模块单元组合形成，最大化日照及空间利用。连桥的引入，串起一系列独立的公寓，同时清晰的划分底层零售及高层的居住空间。连桥为上层居住职员创造独立、共享的休憩场所。
连续的建筑如项链上的珍珠，朝东方缓缓抬升，供应欣赏全体河景的居住环境。起伏的建筑与怀柔山水背景相呼应，营造浪漫、宜居的生活环境。
The apartment is composed by multiple unit modules, maximize the sunlight and space efficiency. The introduced bridge connects the apartment buildings, at the same time divided the ground floor retail and upper accommodations, providing an independent and intimate sharing space for the dwellers.
Strings of interconnected buildings, like pearls on a necklace, gently rise towards the East to offer residences with maximum views across the river. The undulating building echoing to the landscape mountains in Huairou, creates a romantic and vivid living environment.

科学是启蒙。我们的设计残酷通透，表达出它们清晰、透明和整洁的特色。科学是光明，是自然，是几何。城市环境将会通过比例、人类尺度以及丰富的空间体验反响这个设计理念。情绪亦将在此科学天下中存展播扬。不同的建筑物立面为密度互异的玻璃/实墙/透明或者半透明表皮。我们设计了一个白色且透明的科学城客厅。仿佛一道白色的光芒穿过的透明城市。
三个地块皆致力于塑造科学城城市客厅。稠浊的功能，多元的建筑设计，同等性的审美，符合人类尺度的愉悦的城市框架，使此城市客厅成为一个令人享受之所。
Science is enlightenment. Our project is crystal clear and wants to transmit clarity, transparence, cleanness.Science is light, nature, geometry.The urban environment will reflect this idea, through proportion, human scale and rich spatial experiences.Emotion will live well within this scientist world.The aspect of the different buildings is glass / opaque / transparent or / fritted with different intensity. We propose a white and transparent science city living room.A white, translucid, transparent city.
All three plots are shaping the Science City Urban Living Room. A mix of functions, a variety of architecture, a aesthetical coherence, a pleasant human scale urban framework, makes this living room a place to enjoy.
